Throwing more hardware or bandwidth at the problem isn&#039;t going to be the answer.  I definitely agree with the cost shift from savings on direct IT spend on software assets to more complex integration architectures and business process alignment in the move to the cloud.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Great post.  I would add that there are certain applications that are more suited in a cloud environment than others.  And, if properly designed and implemented, they can potentially reduce the costs of routine maintenance and upgrades.  But, as you mentioned, there needs to be a thorough understanding of the implications.]]></description>
